Contract Business Analyst required for a key project of work

You will be a skilled and experienced Business Analyst with a background in working as a Business Analyst on a telephony project

Essential is a Business Analyst with a background in telephony including the following:-

* Solid technical understanding of telephony - eg a understanding how ivr works and how a call centre routing
* Strong business analysis skills - need to be analytical and diligent; gather requirements & user cases; documenting requirements; mapping processes; pick up existing info and make sense an turn into communicate what is doing or what needs to chance and analyse; pick up the existing processes and amend to the environment and provide a process document that makes sense; be able to communicate effectively
* Strong interpersonal skills at all levels. Must be really personable; make people feel comfortable; will have to talk to director level and people in the call centre; move comfortable at different levels; capture and churn into readable way and store and use in future; capture discussions and make into user discussions - capture use cases and user requirements

Key projects
- Technical requirements capture to support our client's telephony transformation programme (moving from physical desk phones to soft phones and changing the way the contact centre telephony works)
Scope includes:

- Strong capability to capture and record technical requirements using a variety of approaches (e.g. interview/workshop)

- Able to convert these requirements into the format needed to support a range of delivery projects
- Able to communicate technical information/concepts with technical and non-technical stakeholders/users/internal IT colleagues
- Able to document 'as is' and 'to be' processes using a variety of techniques (context, swim-lane)
- Able to research the market for potential products/solutions - speak to suppliers to understand what products can do/arrange demos
- Willingness to explore some of the digital design/user research techniques (e.g. contact user groups not just internal officers) to supplement traditional approaches
- Challenge/question the 'normal' way things are done
- General exposure to a range of technical projects - telephony a must

This role is for a leading public sector client. Public sector desirable - essential is telephony; This role sits inside IR35
