Content Marketing Manager

My client are a team of cybersecurity experts, with engineers, product, data science and a sales team, building breakthrough technology that enable businesses of all sizes to obtain certification and maintain their ongoing standards compliance, from their clean, modern digital platform.

They are seeking a talented content marketer and copywriter with vision and strategic thinking. You possess the ability to own strategic content planning and deployment, aligned to their business goals, combined with the capability to write high-quality copy.

Working closely with the Head of Marketing, with direct access to every department in the company, and support from external agencies/writers as you need it, the role encourages and gives you the opportunity to establish a key function within the Marketing team. This is truly a role in which you will define success and grow their brand, making us a content powerhouse and thought leader.

Key Responsibilities

* Accountable for content marketing initiatives to drive web traffic
* Developing a content strategy aligned with short and long term company goals
* Creating content to be distributed across all our marketing channels
* Creating a content marketing calendar for socials, email and newsletters
* Managing and enabling content creation process with input from key stakeholders
* Liaising with external agencies/content writers for content creation (when required)
* Understanding of social media channels and how to maximise content impact depending on the channel
* Continuously measure and optimise content whilst providing analytical feedback to Head of Marketing
* Ensure brand consistency across all communications (internal and external)
* Creative approach to content generation, with up-to-date knowledge on trends and content marketing practices
* Develop Content Marketing KPIs in line with business needs

Content creation:

* Create and publish content across all digital touchpoints
* Weekly editorial blogs in line with strategy - educational, product, brand content
* Copy for all website needs (homepage, landing pages)
* Product copy
* Weekly social media copy
* Edit, proofread and publish content created by external writers
* Creation of press releases (with input from PR agency)
* Optimise all content according to SEO


* Expert copywriting skills with the ability to spot good from bad copy
* A natural & instinctive content mindset that enables you to generate content ideas
* Experience creating and amplifying existing content for the web and growing a social audience, ideally with SaaS and/or technology products
* Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what our ideal audiences consume in order to maximize content value
* Experience with a CMS, Google Analytics, and the top B2B social channels
* Project management skills and understanding how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders
* Background or technical knowledge of cybersecurity would be advantageous
