InterQuest are supporting an International bank who are looking for a Compliance Manager to join their team in London. This role will report into the Head of Compliance and cover both advisory and monitoring.
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the Deputy for the Head of Compliance and MLRO as needed.
  • Aid in crafting, executing, and maintaining annual monitoring programs for Compliance Functions.
  • Regularly monitor and report on business compliance with current regulations and laws through monthly reviews.
  • Conduct yearly assessments of Consumer Duty policies.
  • Perform annual policy evaluations of Compliance-owned Policies to ensure alignment with the latest regulatory standards.
  • Offer guidance to the business on Compliance matters to ensure that internal processes reflect regulatory changes.
  • Ensure that procedures, systems, and controls are current, effective, and compliant with relevant regulations.
  • Keep abreast of regulatory and industry changes and assess their impact on the Bank's operations.
  • Support compliance-related projects when necessary, ensuring timely delivery and awareness of regulatory impact among stakeholders.
  • Participate in the review and approval of Financial Promotions.

Essential Skills:
  • Previous experience within a similar Compliance Manager role, with a background in banking
  • Knowledge of Consumer duty, DISP, MCOBS, BCOBC, SMCR and Conduct Risk
  • Strong communication skills
