This is an exciting opportunity to join an established bank in London who have a range of different products, offering exposure across a breadth or products and portfolios. The company is currently going through a lot of growth and development, building on their already successful teams to allow for that growth to continue. The role itself will focus on providing essential insights regarding driving factors for any fluctuations in risk weights and IFRS 9 provisions to senior management, and leading engagements with key stakeholders to walk-through the changes. More widely the role will focus on providing oversight with respect to all credit models and where adjustments are necessary and having ownership of the stress testing and forecasting methodologies and controls, leading the development of credit risk inputs into the ICAAP.
The role will allow collaboration and working closely with the wider business, frequently engaging with senior management and key stakeholders, and particularly working with the credit risk model development team.
They are looking for an individual who has:
- Mathematical, statistical, physics, or analytical degree/background
- Experience with SAS and SQL
- Knowledge of IFRS and/or IRB
- Experience working in an FCA regulated environment
- Retail credit risk experience across the lifecycle
