InterQuest are delighted to be working with one of our most prestigious clients who are an industry leader in the software sector, supporting them with the recruitment of a Service Business Development Manager to join their thriving in London. The role will pay a highly competitive salary (available on request). We are seeking a highly experienced AV service sales professional to drive the company's AV Managed Service propositions for local, European and global opportunities

What is expected of the Business Development Manager:

* Build relationships and coordinate with all relevant stakeholders to drive one company mentality
* Convert service contract opportunities into wins and proactively manage renewal opportunities
* Coordinate effectively with in-country sales teams
* Develop and direct AV Managed Service elements in high-quality bids for new service sales opportunities
* Provide timely and accurate management information for future business forecasting
* Help develop/iterate marketing materials, with Product Management, to assist in driving awareness of CS support propositions
* Effective management of System Integrator/Vendor/Partner pricing and offerings that support the AV Managed Services
* Provide reliable forecast with a strong forecast accuracy
* Build a senior and operational network within the customers organisation
* Build a deep understanding of the customer's business and Industry
* Manage customer feedback and attend regular Business Reviews
* Turn customers into advocates to support the wider Business

Experience we are looking for in the Business Development Manager:

* Proven experience of successfully working in a targeted environment, with international experience, preferably with an Audio-Visual solutions background
* Good understanding and experience of designing and selling Audio Visual services to large blue-chip companies
* Ability to introduce a service value proposition
* Knowledge of EMEA and global Audio-Visual industry
* Excellent presentation skills - able to communicate at all levels using a variety of means
* Excellent knowledge and understanding of commercial, financial and contractual relationships with customers
* Ability to work under pressure and to tight RFP deadlines
* Able to work within a team; fostering a strong teamwork ethos
