Business Analyst

£40,000 - £50,000 per annum + benefits

Surrey - Hybrid Working

We are currently recruiting for a Business Analysts for a leading Surrey based financial services company. The purpose of the role is to support business improvement initiatives and projects, understanding business change needs, assessing the impact of those changes, capturing, analysing and documenting requirements and supporting the delivery of new requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

* Facilitating and supporting information gathering workshops.
* Working with business users to identify, analyse, evaluate and problem solve operational issues.
* Documenting business needs including business processes and requirements.
* Gaining business and key stakeholder buy-in to requirements.
* Managing third party contributions to the project.
* Supporting the business in defining (and where appropriate executing) test plans including creating test scenarios.
* Understanding and contributing to project plans and implements agreed actions in a timely manner.
* Adheres to the agreed project methodology and provides feedback where appropriate.
* Proactively provides project support to the project manager and project teams.
* Managing project risks and issues.
* Where necessary adopts the role of the project manager on smaller changes.
* Assists business users in implementation and embedding of change.

Experience & Skills Required

* Strong demonstrable Business Analysis experience delivering projects to time, quality and budget.
* Experience facilitating and supporting information gathering workshops.
* Proven analytical and problem solving skills.
* Strong business process mapping (Visio) and analysis experience.
* Ability to work with business users to identify, analyse, evaluate and problem solve operational issues.
* Ability to work within Agile and Waterfall project management frameworks
* Strong stakeholder management skills
* Experience in the financial services industry (desirable not essential)
* You will be proactive with the ability to work across multiple initiatives adjusting to shifting priorities
* Must have strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels

The salary for this role is paying between £40,000 and £50,000 and also offers a generous benefits package which includes: 27 days holiday, pension contribution and a performance related bonus.
