Role: Contract Technical Project Manager / IT Project Manager

Location: Bradford

Rate: £400 - £450 a day

Our client has key 2-3 workstream projects and require a solid and reliable Technical Project Manager to manage these workstreams

The Role

You will be an IT Project Manager who has a background in IT project management and delivery of software application and integration for project workstreams; be responsible for planning, managing and rolling out new solutions/upgrading existing solutions; in addition possess strong stakeholder and 3rd party engagement skills; be highly organised; can work to pace and with challenging timescales in a robust and complex environment with stakeholders and senior management

Must have

* A strong IT/Technical project management background with Waterfall and/or Agile
* Supply chain and/or retail background highly desirable, what is essential is a Tech focused IT Project Manager with integration and delivery of software application background with some infrastructure
* This role will entail working within this client's Supply chain environment, IT and external partners to develop, agree and execute a detailed plan
* Provide Project Management skills in the overall rollout project including defining the implementation strategy, project planning, risks/issues
* Management inc stakeholder engagement, resource management, oversight of application, infrastructure, support and business readiness; progress reporting, stage gate progression
* Prioritise, allocate and manage (potentially competing) resources as necessary
* Preparation and submission of any change requests required
* Management of 3rd party suppliers
* Form strong working relationships with Business and IT, matrix managing teams to ensure successful execution of the implementation
* Be responsible for planning and executing cutover rehearsal and back out rehearsal activities
* This role will require you to demonstrate the ability to work well under pressure
* Can deal with an ever changing and demanding environment and works well with ambiguous and changing requirements
* Can lead teams to deliver in a challenging multi supplier environment
* Experience of working in both Waterfall and Agile delivery methodologies
* Have experience of working within different governance frameworks
