Albany Beck is delighted to working with an exciting new Cyber Security consultancy firm in London.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this exciting opportunity offers a fantastic working environment and the chance to really put on stamp on things and play a key role in the future success of the organisation.

The successful candidate will enjoy a varied remit, working to utilise publicly available and private data (2bn data point), to help define the real value and product design and delivery that enables them to develop market leading insights.

The organisation has a vision of the potential the data offers, delivering cybersecurity awareness and identifying threat interventions to support SMEs, and need somebody who can get truly hands-on to help realise this potential, and deliver the strategic planning to launch new product features. We're moving from a model which allows us to detect, to predict and eventually prevent incidents using smart technology and a vast network of contextual data.

The successful candidate will:

- get excited about working as the lead on a new data set with strong skills at statistical techniques/methods

- have a passion for start-up environments and the delivery of strategic data exploitation planning and delivery

- be hands-on with ownership of the data on a platform that spans a range of technologies including web, desktop and mobile

- understand how to extract data and analytics from a data set that delivers true business context and value


- Python, R, Hadoop

- experience in developing machine learning and deep learning solutions

- experience deploying machine learning services from scratch

- understand the requirements to successfully develop architectural data design

(technology and data schema)

- proven ability to train, tune and evaluate ML models

- great knowledge and applied data engineering best practices

- take ownership of allocated timelines

- want to grow and own the delivery of ML and AI in an entrepreneurial start-up


- keep up-to-date with recent technologies, in particular around cybersecurity threats

and defences

Previous cyber security and technology knowledge is essential.
