Systems Engineer

Contract - Initial 6 months


I'm currently recruiting for a Systems Engineer to join my Financial Services client on an initial 6 month contract based in Swindon.

They are currently going through a large technical 'revamp' and are looking for someone to join the team and assess the risk factors throughout various software and mobile platforms, including site reliability, disaster recovery etc.

They are looking for someone with a proven track record in similar roles, ideally with financial services experience who have worked on large, successful projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyse and evaluate current systems

Identify new system requirements

Suggest solutions for process improvement

Communicate with users to understand their additional requirements and needs

Work with IT team and developers to produce new and improve existing systems

Regularly test and troubleshoot

Fix issues in a timely manner

Train and educate others on the team

Attend various educational events and stay up to date with latest technology and best practices
