Contract Business Analyst x 2 - Supply Chain / Retail - 6 months

Contract Business Analysts required with a background of retail/supply chain &/or logistics environments; providing business analysis for large projects; stakeholder engagement & management at senior levels to gather and validate business requirements; running and facilitating workshops with all levels of stakeholders within the Business and technology teams within a retail/supply chain/logistics domain

Experience will entail:

Documentation of detailed as-is and to-be business processes associated with the project;

Documentation of Business Functional and Non-Functional requirements, walk through of these and gaining sign-off from all stakeholders within the Business and technology teams; Building of detailed workflow specification to support development of new solution

These roles are for two key programmes of work - one assignment requires end-to-end supply chain therefore experience working in a retail/supply chain environment is essential;

The second assignment requires knowledge around range and space planning within a retail/supply chain domain

It is key to have strong experience providing business analysis for large projects and programmes and need to be a confident speaker/presenter who can present to stakeholders in other areas of the business

Your key skills will include

- Experienced and strong Business Analyst with experience of working on large-scale projects and programmes in a fast paced environment

- Experience of all aspects of process and workflow design and implementation

- A strong problem solving ability using targeted articulation skills

- Excellent people skills with the ability to connect with colleagues and build relationships with key stakeholders

- Proven track record of taking responsibility for key requirements building activities across complex changes

- Experience working with mixed and distributed teams

Desirable is

- Strong understanding of Data modelling, object modelling and OO design principles.

- Experience in working within Agile teams

- General understanding of the principles of differing types of IT applications and infrastructure as well as the general functions of a business

- Experience of working with service transition teams to move projects in to business as usual support
