Business Analyst/Business Change Agent- Procurement Project

Business Analyst with the ability to produce procurement process documentation and guidance documentation/templates is urgently needed to work on procurement development project.
The Business Analyst will be responsible for providing analysis to clearly define and communicate the current capability of the client’s procurement function capability with a view to make recommendations for improvements and provide up to date procurement documentation. The Business Analyst will be required to work with various stakeholders to capture requirements whilst mapping processes.

Essential Experience
• Extensive Business Analyst experience with a strong track recording of providing successful Business Analysis expertise to procurement projects.
• Knowledge of procurement functions and relevant legislation and requirements.
• Familiarity with procurement templates and all their components (functional and non-functional requirements, service, contractual elements)
• The ability to engage and identify what input is needed for procurement documentation from an ITT scoring perspective.
• Excellent understanding of the procurement process including (covering supplier selection, legal/mandatory checks, supplier responses and evaluation and supplier presentations).
• Knowledge of Invitation to Tender (ITT), Request for information (RfI), Request for proposal (RfP) documentation.
• Experience of working on procurement improvement projects with experience of producing new procurement/commercial documentation.
• Strong business process analysis skills and experience of business case preparation and composing procurement documentation.
• The ability to work with a range of stakeholders across organisation levels including requirements engineering and workshop facilitation with department managers and procurement stakeholders.
• Strong core business analysis skills in requirements capture and documentation.
• Strong business process modelling skills (as-is and to-be)
• Experience of working on both business focused and procurement projects.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate precisely, both written and verbal.
• Experience of working with a diverse range of stakeholders at ranging levels within the organisation.

Desirable Experience
Experience of working within a Higher Education/University/Academic/NHS/Health care/Government environment.
