Application Support Analyst

Role accountabilities
• Providing telephone and e-mail support to an established customer base, ensuring timely responses to all customer requests
• System configuration, user access control, housekeeping and end-user training
• Cross platform meta data validation
• Creation of regular customer reports and automated processes, as well as bespoke report creation
• Report design and rebranding
• Identification and investigation of data anomalies
• Presentation and delivery of investigation results is vitally important
• The role is heavily dependent upon verbal communications, at all levels
• Optimisation of operational processes
• Maintaining department and personal key performance indicators
• Experience in SQL

Knowledge, skills and behaviours required
• Strong data management experience
• To be able to analyse and understand large volumes of data
• Proven ability creating comprehensive MI reports from the gathered data
• Highly proficient use of MS excel 2010, including VBA scripting
• Ability to converse at all levels, from business leaders and decision makers to multi-skilled site based personnel
• Knowledge of Unix
• Ability to deal with stakeholders and understand the business requirements
• An understanding of the IT networking
• Ability to utilise common office based software, to produce presentable data to our customers
• Ability to work in fast-paces environment, and to meet changing deadlines and priorities on multiple simultaneous projects
