IT SUPPORT DESK - 3 WEEKS COVER - CENTRAL LONDON - STRONG OUTLOOK FOR EXTENSION

InterQuest are looking to find temporary holiday cover at one of London's most prestigious governing bodies. The role will be 3 weeks in length, however having spoken with my client, they ensure me that should the candidate be a good fit at their offices then there is an extremely positive scope for the contract length to be extend due to expansions plans on the premises.

The role will require candidates to provide operational and technical support and advice to approximately 150 end users on software or hardware related problems, and act as the first point of contact for all IT queries via the IT Help Desk e-mail inbox and telephone. Answer calls in a prompt, friendly and efficient manner. Log, update and escalate calls on the Helpdesk management system.

This is a highly professional and well respected body, and so it is essential that the perfect candidate has at least 3-4 years' experience in IT support.

General duties include:
• Acting as the first point of contact for all IT queries via the IT Help Desk e-mail inbox and telephone.
• Resolving calls where possible within the Bar Council and Bar Standards Board Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) and personal level of knowledge and training
• Creation of all new network Accounts for new staff and provide Staff Inductions on first day of work
• Administration of Telephone System, including creation of new accounts and auto-attendants
• Generate Statistical reports from the Helpdesk management system relating to service performance against Service Level Agreements (SLA)

It is expected you will have an NVQ in IT, ITIL or a certificate in IT as the bare minumum.
