Sales Functional Consultant - £65,000 - Watford

Calling all Functional Consultants!

A Global IT Solutions organisation based in Watford are looking for a Functional Consultant with experience of Siebel Sales CRM.

The Role

• Supports the Development Manager in delivering improvements from an application perspective to support the business requirements in the Sales processes.
• Understanding the operation of the sales business, provides technical insights and support to identify opportunities for process improvement and participating in projects to drive efficiency and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Support continuous evolution of the Sales business for both subsidiaries and Central Sales, to enable continued expansion of company business through consultation with the businesses and other Process owners.
• Support implementation of process or application changes to ensure that the European business strategy is realised through optimal end-to-end processes.
• Utilises functional and technical expertise and knowledge to undertake gap reviews, process reviews, data conversion and cleansing as appropriate to the projects allocated.
• Interprets business requirements into functional and technical solutions and designs to promote process efficiency, cost reduction or potential revenue generation to support financial benefit to company.
• Supporting key sales process areas such as suspect, opportunities, marketing, quotes, proposals, order creation, mobility, sales activities

Key Experience

• Demonstrated project management capability, including use of project management methodologies and approaches
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience of Sales business applications in Siebel technology including mobility, quotes, proposals, configuration, pricing for a multi-country deployment.
• Awareness of Lean Six Sigma methodology
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience of SDLC in a multi-application development and deployment business environment

Skills and knowledge’s required

• System and Functional design: ability to interpret business requirements and high level solution designs into detailed designs for technical development and/or configuration.
• Good communicator and influencer: excellent interpersonal communication skills, essential to achieve business objectives with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to communicate concisely, clearly and effectively across functions and cultures
• At least 5 years’ experience working with CRM tools in a Sales area, with at least 2 year’s leading or instrumental in design is desirable.
• System and Technical expert in Siebel CRM and associated solutions
