InterQuest Solutions are delighted to be working with one of our most successful investment management clients supporting them with the recruitment of a HR BP to join their team in Henley on Thames. The role will be an ongoing contract until December 2019 to cover maternity and will act as a HR relationship manager for designated business functions within EMEA, proactively partnering on people-related matters in line with business strategy and requirements

Duties & Responsibilities
• Build strong working partnerships with leaders in the designated business functions, across a matrix environment, becoming integrated with the management team(s) to understand their priorities and identifying and translating business function into commercial HR solutions, utilising consulting and other HR skills as required
• Interpret and pragmatically apply HR policy and best practice to advise and influence leaders and their teams on a full range of complex people related matters throughout the talent lifecycle (including strategic workforce planning, talent development, succession planning, non-routine employee relations matters etc
• Develop a deep knowledge of the talent within the assigned business functions, utilising talent lifecycle data and information to advise and coach leaders on engaging and developing their teams
• Actively partner with leaders on change management initiatives including organisational design, restructures, etc
• Oversee HR support for cyclical activities such as the compensation reviews, annual talent management and performance reviews
• Work with the broader HR team to ensure that HR policies and practices are designed, implemented and communicated effectively to meet business needs and changes in legislation and regulations
• Work in line with global operational excellence standards, ensuring provision of highly accurate data to the HR Advisers and Coordinators at all times.
• Lead or actively participate in regional and global HR projects as required

Experience & Skills
• Candidates will have a significant proven background of working as a HR BP or in a similar role, working within a global matrix environment across the EMEA region
• Good knowledge and understanding across the broad spectrum of the full HR remit (i.e. compensation, benefits, organisational development, people development, talent acquisition)
• Ideal candidates will be comfortable with HR systems (preferably Peoplesoft) and will have good knowledge of Microsoft applications, especially Excel
• Proven experience in partnering with leaders on all people related issues, proactively identifying issues, recommending solutions and advising and coaching across the full remit of HR activities and experience of working with complex incentive or compensation plans would be a real bonus
• Previous experience of working in a regulated environment would be extremely beneficial
