Procurement Specialist / Operations Support

InterQuest Solutions are excited to be working with one of our key Hospitality clients supporting with the recruitment of Procurement Specialist / Operations Support to join their team on a contract basis.
Areas of responsibility:
• Logging and facilitation of setting up new suppliers (liaise with Finance)
• Maintaining Group eProcurement system
• Monitoring and validating Pricing updates from suppliers in the system
• Monitor system KPIs (report any system downtime/issues)
• Assist with training requests (Support basic training of eProcurement system to users)
• Reporting (run reports upon request from eProcurement system)
• Add new users / permissions to eProcurement system
• Send out site communications regarding system changes
• New product request sense checks
• Co-ordinating new product set up
• Telephone and email support for properties - become enabler (not solver)
• Support resolution of supplier issues escalated by Hotels

Skills and Experience:
• Experience working in a helpdesk environment - essential
• Experience with procurement systems - essential
• Experience of Procurement & Supply Chain processes - essential
• Familiarity with F&B (Food & Beverage) supply chains - desirable
• Experience driving and delivering change programmes – desirable
• Good communicator
• Proficient and confident with systems (especially eProcurement systems)
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Analytical Skills
• Good organization skills
• Customer service skills
• Demonstrated ability to proactively solve problems

Majority of work is performed in a normal office environment but there is likely to be a need to visit hotels across the UK periodically.
