International Mobility & Employment Tax Officer
1-2 Month contract initially (Likely to be extended)

InterQuest Solutions are excited to be working with one of our key Hospitality clients supporting with the recruitment of International Mobility and Employment Tax officer to join their team on a contract basis.

Areas of Responsibility:
• Provide a range of services to Expatriates and International Assignees that comply with the clients Policy and effectively support the needs of expatriates.
• Assist with the management of all aspects of expatriate costs; maintain data on assignments, costs, taxes and expenses.
• Assist with overseeing all relocation of employees, managing third party vendors to ensure that such moves are completed smoothly and to agreed costs.
• Assist with ongoing liaison with HR regarding the individual’s and Company’s objectives for the assignment.
• Contact with the assignee regarding pre, during and post assignment matters.
• Assist with ensuring any changes to pay, such as salary, bonus, currency selection are processed appropriately.
• Enter and maintain data on expatriate placement details and expenses. Provide reports as necessary.
• Ensure assignee is included within appropriate international benefit schemes and receives relevant communications
• Assist with ensuring any changes to pay, such as salary, bonus, currency selection are processed appropriately.
• Assist with the management of the immigration, relocation and destination services delivery through third parties to agreed service levels and costs.
• Assist with the collation of information that will assist with external agencies in the preparation of accurate and complete tax returns.

Skills & Experience:

• A formal Finance or HR qualification would be an advantage. Role would suit someone studying for a CIPD or Accounting qualification.
• Two years progressive work related experience in a Human Resources or Finance role.
• An awareness of International Assignments and the elements of an expatriate package.
• Data entry and report preparation from a database and Excel
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organisational ability
• Ability to work under pressure
• Resilient, Articulate and Flexible
• Effective analytical and problem solving skills
