InterQuest Solutions are delighted to be working with one of our most successful global clients in the recruitment of a Billing Team Leader. This will be a permanent role based out of their prestigious Northampton offices. This role will ultimately be to supervise a team of Contract Analysts to ensure accuracy of the service invoices, to enable timely payment. You will be responsible for three to five Contract Analysts, have indirect responsibility for one to two Credit Controllers and be working in a team responsible for 200-300 major Account Customers.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Supervise Contract Support Analysts on a day to day basis and ensure each are fully trained to avoid business interruptions.
• Supervise, motivate and organize team Analyst to drive a high performance culture
• To oversee accuracy and timely service invoicing in line with contractual obligations.
• To build internal and external customer relationships through effective communication with accurate and visible data.
• Ensure communication to line manager of discrepancies between financial forecast and budget relating to billing revenue and customer debt.
• Identify process efficiencies and recommendations where applicable
• Lead and/or participate in projects related to the field of contract administration.
• To be the first point of escalation for any queries
• Deputise in the absence of the Billing Manager.
• Supervise the team to minimize bespoke billing

Skills & Experience

• Advanced technical knowledge of the Contract Billing process
• Highly numerate and strong literacy skills
• Advanced knowledge of service contracts (Oracle knowledge highly desirable)
• Good PC skills
• People management skills – ability to lead, prioritise allocation of work, develop, coach, motivate and handle conflict
• Good time management, organisational & delegation skills
• Ability to communicate with all levels in the organization
• Advanced customer handling skills to include face to face contact with the ability to identify & resolve problems
