Account Manager

Sevenoaks - Up to £27,000

InterQuest Recruitment is proud to be supporting the recruitment of a Deal Advisor for one of our most valued clients, a leading and award winning name in the finance industry.

The Role:

The role is part of a small, established team, currently 2 that liaise directly with customers, dealers and partner finance companies to convert deals that our client are unable to underwrite.

Are you enthusiastic & willing to go that extra mile? Can you work several cases simultaneously whilst maintaining an eye for detail? Are you confident on the phone? Do team targets motivate you? If so, the Deal Making Team would like to meet you!

You:

Experience
• Experience of working in a team in an office environment is essential
• Good negotiation/objection handling skills
• Knowledge of treating customers fairly (TCF)
• Awareness of current FCA regulations
• Ability to understand and comply with documented processes and procedures
• Keep electronic and paper filing in order at all times
• Excellent verbal and written communication

Qualifications
• Good educational background with proficiency demonstrable in maths and English
• Computer Literate, including MS office products and Email

Interpersonal
• Adaptable and flexible
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team but also to take initiative
• Excellent telephone manner
• Enthusiastic ‘can do’ attitude is essential
• Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines within the team
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Professional and well-presented
• Establishes effective working relationships
• Customer focussed approach
• Reliable member of the team


Additional information

• Permanent / 37.5 hours a week (8.5 hours per day inc. 1 unpaid hour for lunch = 7.5 hours a day)
• Must be able to reliably commute to office
• Rota shift work based on 8-8 weekdays and 9-5 Saturdays, Sundays & Bank Holidays (day in lieu earnt for working them).
