Ecommerce Marketing Manager
Upto £40,000

ECOM are working with an innovative Technology brand in Manchester. They are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to create, implement and optimise the multi-channel digital marketing plan and customer journey. You will manage a team, so previous management experience is desired.

You will focus on acquisition of new site visitors and driving the highest revenue per visit. Knowledge of tracking engagement, conversation rate optimisation and user experience is essential.


• Lead a digital team and external resources; devise, manage and execute all web, Search (paid/organic), retargeting and display advertising campaigns, plus co-ordinate email, social media and content marketing
• Measure and report on all digital marketing campaigns
• Identify trends, optimise spend and performance based on the insights
• Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimise user experience
• Build on affiliate and vendor partner relationships to curate revenue streams
• Analyse end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
• Conversion Rate Optimisation
• Measure conversion tests for continuous improvement of usability and design
• Liaise with agencies for support; web operations, SEO, PPC


• Previous experience in a similar role for 3 years
• Experience in B2B marketing, programmatic advertising, loyalty programmes, attribution modelling, technology sector is highly desirable
• BA in Marketing, Digital Marketing, qualified CIM or similar
• Demonstrable management experience and delivering successful online marketing campaigns in an ecommerce environment
• Data driven with ability to report on all activities and respond to drive digital plans
• Experience in optimising landing pages and user funnels
• Experience with A/B and multivariate testing
• Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Webmaster tools, Google Insights, Webstream, CrazyEgg, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends etc)
• Working knowledge of ad serving tools (e.g., DART, Atlas)
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
• Google analytics qualified - desired
• Confident communicator
