Internal Recruitment Consultant

Birmingham - Up to £35,000 - Plus Bonus

InterQuest are delighted to be working alongside one of the industries most renowned boutique Digital Technology Companies to recruit an Internal Recruitment Consultant. Our client is a market leader in terms of innovation, offering both Digital services and platforms to over150 globally based customers and due to expansion is looking to build out their Internal recruitment team.

You will be working with a dedicated in house recruitment team seeking to identify candidates suitable for a range of Technical, Managerial, Sales and Consulting roles across the organisation. Using the latest sourcing techniques, you will find and engage with the leading talent available, be they passive or active job seekers.

The Role:

• Manage a full cycle recruiting process, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience for your defined area
• Work with the Talent Acquisition Team to develop, implement, and execute hiring plans for multiple requisitions
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their hiring needs and goals
• Screen applications and interview qualified candidates
• Facilitate interview and hiring discussions with interviewers and hiring managers
• Continually develop and maintain Talent Pools for your defined area (Contracting, Permanent, Technical etc)
• Maintain performance metrics on a regular basis
• Drive offer process - including extending verbal offers, closing candidates and working with HR to extend offer letters and contracts for Permanent Employees / issue ECAs, Schedules and Frameworks for Contractors
• Work with the Human Resources team to successfully on-board new hires
• Act as an internally and externally-facing representative of for our client and the talent acquisition team


• Extensive recruiting or sourcing experience in an agency, search firm or in-house recruiting team
• Patient, communicative team player that is detail oriented and has outstanding interpersonal skills
• Experience partnering with managers, interviewers, and team members throughout the hiring process
• Broad knowledge of programming languages, web technologies, software development process and emerging technologies
• Experience of sourcing both permanent and contract candidates
• Ability to demonstrate sourcing skills and techniques beyond job boards and LinkedIn
