InterQuest Solutions are delighted to be working with one of our main clients who are an industry leader in the technology sector, supporting them with the recruitment of a Finance Analyst to work out of their London head office.

This role will suit a recently qualified finance professional with experience of working for the ‘Big 4’ and international audits.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Preparation of monthly reporting package for the Board of Directors.
• Understand, correct and explain irregularities in data submissions; monitor material variances from Budget and performance against forecast on an ongoing basis
• Review the Group’s annual budget and long term planning submissions, as well as monthly forecasts.
• Participate in financial and operational reviews
• Discussion of analysis with members of the finance team as part of monthly meetings, with involvement from other business functions.
• Provide support for the research, evaluation and reporting on technical accounting issues
• Assist in the preparation of working papers for the audit team and liaise with them concerning technical or audit issues.
• Assist in the ongoing development of the financial system in line with technical and holding company reporting requirements
• Prepare and present on relevant topics to company finance directors at bi annual finance conference
• Participate in and possibly lead value add projects to comply with the changing needs of the organisation
• Periodic presentation of company results to Head Office employees
• Release of authorised treasury and electronic transactions to meet cash management and transactional deadlines.

Experience & Skills
• Ideal candidates will have experience from the ‘Big 4’ and knowledge of international audit processes
• ACA or similar international qualification, with relevant experience
• Ability to communicate effectively across international functions and departments, both orally and in writing
• Structured approach to analysis and reporting, with a focus on process improvement and adding value
• Knowledge of UKGAAP/IFRS
• Advanced computer skills
• Fluency in one or more European languages would be advantage, although it is not required
