Our client is an award winning PR agency in Manchester who are looking for an Account Manager to come on-board and manage a number of large B2B client accounts, someone with a focus on technology would be desirable but wider IT/Managed Service, Software or technology industries (Secure tech/Fintech etc) will be considered.

This role has come about as the result of a number of new client wins, the agency are expanding in the North and want an ambitious PR Account Manager who is a great writer, can create engaging PR campaigns, understands how to integrate these onto digital/social platforms, wants to manage a team and progress through the business.

The agency has a family feel and they do not want to hold top performers back, they are looking to promote and progress successful candidates as quickly as possible - the successful candidate being brought here being earmarked for progression to Senior Account Manager ASAP.

They are a forward thinking agency with a great client base and offering a fantastic salary, they're also growing quickly so it is a very exciting time to join and play an important part in the growth of this already well-established agency!

They’re looking for:

• Proven writing skills
• A solid understanding of B2B sectors, specifically technology
• Solid client engagement
• Digital experience, including social media and analysis
• Solid media relations
• The ability to work under pressure, whilst maintaining high standards
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience within an agency
• Experience of wider marketing
• Excellent communication skills
• Great creative thinker
• The ability to work in a strategic and proactive way


• Supporting the team in the manageent of accounts on a daily basis
• Regular client interaction
• Monitoring clients’ industries, immersing yourself in their industry news
• Writing press releases, features, copy, award entries etc
• Contribution to campaign strategies
• Creating work in progress reports
• Attending regular client meetings
• Actively participating in business development
• Social media management and analysis
