Development Manager

You will be working across all levels of the clients’ organization and internally within us to achieve a thorough understanding of the clients’ requirements and possible solutions. You will provide business domain leadership throughout the implementation phase of the project and play a key role in structuring the implementation in terms of its business process, business information, data flows, integration touch points and go-live strategy.

The key responsibilities:
• Lead/Support the solution design during the Sales opportunity
• Design the solutions in detail while engaging subject matter experts throughout the organization in the solution process
• Leading the Design sessions during the planning phase, working alongside the respective business and technical analysts
• Building, understanding, explaining and documenting the planned solution and Data Flow within the clients environment - be able to articulate the data which needs to be passed from application to application, both within and outside of the solutions' boundaries
• Act as a prime point of contact with the Client for all business related areas during the project
• Effectively support delivery teams, and proactively communicate status updates to the PM and leadership team

The key skills for the role:
• Familiarity with Agile & DevOps methodologies
• Good understanding and working experience in Hybrid Clouds environments
• An excellent understanding and ability to separate business requirements and conceptual technical design needs and an ability to speak both business and technical language
• Strong consulting and customer engagement skills communicating both with business and technical audiences
• Demonstrable experience communicating at senior levels within client organizations
• Strong influencing and solution leadership skills
• Experience in providing solution management and mentorship
• Self-motivated and will have a proven ability to self-learn through on the job training
• Understanding of Business Process Design, Business Requirements Design and requirements analysis
• Ability to understand the clients business requirements and align them with the optimal solution
• Experience in defining integration and migration strategies
• Experience in estimating efforts on projects and implementations
• Experience in managing scope and risk (including proposing and developing risk mitigation strategies)
• Good understanding of software implementation methodologies
• Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to up sell their services
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven problem solving, follow-up skills, independence and reliability
• Flexible to travel 50% of the time, UK & abroad
