The InterQuest Group are currently sourcing for a skilled Contract Senior Project Manager to complete an initial 5 month contract to drive key and strategic projects for leading customers.

You will have a proven track record of Project Management and deep subject matter expertise in OTT (VOD, SVOD), Digital Video Delivery, Software development, Video infrastructure, systems implementations, integration and driving process improvements.

To be successful in this role it is essential that you have experience in working in an international, shared service environment, remote assignments, influencing ability / exception stakeholder management, people management and team development in order to ensure the successful end to end project delivery, within scope, timeline and budget.

What this role involves:
- Successful project delivery
- Plan and direct the overall project of work through driving a clear vision and goals
- Act as the go-to lead for the project team, customer and Piksel management, and owning the requirements management process throughout the project
- Successful commercial delivery of projects, within budget and agreed timescales
- Effective management of issues and risks ensuring that options and solutions are validated and the impacts of decisions clearly articulated.
- Ensuring deliverables build to the appropriate quality
- Ensuring smooth handover of the project into the support phase
- Conform to project management standards, champion their use and contribute to their development
- Deep technical understanding including knowledge of AWS, cloud hosting and migrations
- Ability to lead and deliver AGILE / SCRUM projects
- Stakeholder management

- Ensuring customer satisfaction and promotion of successful long-term customer relationship evidenced by repeat business
- Creating and retaining customer engagement throughout the whole project lifecycle
- Materially shaping the project to get the optimum outcome for all stakeholders
- Using a strategic understanding of the customer’s relationship to Piksel and actively contribute to account success
- Commercial activities

Manage the capacity and forecasting of the project management team ensuring capability and numbers match the pipeline of approved projects.
Key contributor to pre-sales activities of relevant projects
Identifying and following up all new business opportunities with the customer
People management

What you'll need to bring with you:
Project Management qualification or equivalent experience
Working knowledge of design methods, models and techniques
Awareness of business process modelling
Experience of working on large scale projects
Experience of leading project teams to success
Developed communication skills
Confidence in leading presentations, and ability to present complex ideas to a non-technical audience
Ability to estimate and forecast progress accurately
Ability to translate ideas and solutions to clear tasks and models
Works with and through people, looking for a win-win solution wherever possible
Positive attitude and approachable nature
