IT Technical Support Analyst required for project and resolution role possessing strong knowledge of Microsoft operating systems :
o Windows 7 / Windows 10
o Windows Server 2003 / 2008 / 2012
Also: - Hyper-V and VMWare
• Office 365 / Office 2016
• Microsoft Exchange 2013
• TCP/IP networking
• Telephone Systems / VOIP


Technical Support Analyst required - strong technical background (2nd line/3rd line) within an medium sized IT environment with solid experience in desktop support; Windows 2008 including Active Directory for setting up permissions; Exchange creating mailboxes problem diagnosis and resolution. Additional technical support skills with remote control utilities, basic networking, mobile devices ie Blackberry Server. Highly desirable SQL and/or Sage, laptop encryption, mobile device encryption, antivirus

This role will be responsible for resolving technical queries from across the business by phone or email up to a second line support level/some third line

Essential is professional individual possessing logical and methodical approaches to problem solving, who can draw on previous experience, while still keeping an open mind on the root cause of any issue. The role is highly technical, so essential is a positive ‘can do’ attitude to life. You will also need to find the answers to questions using your own initiative or by working as a team. You will be responsible for delivering ‘Right First Time’ fixes wherever possible – dedicated to assisting internal customers.

You must also possess excellent time management skills, while being able to juggle administration tasks with technical queries and user education requests.

This role is to be part of a small IT Support team where this is a mixture of BAU and project
Customer service is absolutely key to this position, so a friendly and helpful personality is required to deal with people over the phone, via email and face to face. The ideal candidate for this role will have great skills in building rapport with customers
