SQL Developer (x2)

Manchester - £45,000

Interquest is working with one of the UK's largest and fastest growing financial service providers based in the heart of Manchester.
You will be working directly with a team of developers and liasing with BA and PM resource working to requirements documents and producing developments as dictated in those requirements. It will also be necessary for the ideal candidate to have involvement in the technical architecture discussions in order to help shape the on-going database platform.

It is essential that you have the following skills:

• Strong knowledge of SQL Server 2008 R2-2014
• Exposure to working in a dynamic environment
• Knowledge of SSIS development
• Experience of Change Control
• Good documentation skills
• Previous DBA experience in versions 2008 R2-2014
• Knowledge of SQL Server development best practices
• Expertise to input into senior level development discussions
• Detailed understanding of optimisation techniques for SQL Server query performance
• Significant experience with building data driven solutions in T-SQL
