InterQuest are currently hiring for Mid and Senior Technical Account Managers to join our leading global technology client at their offices based near York.

You will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities by the acquisition of new accounts in the UK.

This is a customer-facing role, with accountability for the delivery of monthly and annual business gross profit targets. It’s an exciting time to join them – their business transformation is going from strength to strength - they have launched their Global Managed Services offering with huge success, whilst maintaining their strong position as a global specialist.

Skills and Experience Required:-

• Significant proven track record for acquiring and developing new business opportunities gained within a services and/or software background, with evidence of consistent overachievement of sales targets.

• Experience working on strategic accounts across the region and/or FTSE 100 companies

• Wide understanding of the IT Industry and an ability to discuss and understand client business issues and challenges

• Ability to articulate in written format responses to clients’ day to day needs and that of RFI/RFP requests

• Fostering teamwork and collaboration across different organisations

• Consultative approach to solution-based selling

• Extensive software licensing sales and services experience and knowledge, including software licensing programs, partner service standards, contracts and agreements.

• Ability to confidently deliver client-facing presentations and documentation to a high standard, and the ability to communicate to a C-level audience.

• Knowledge of systems such as CRM, Microsoft Explore and Microsoft Dynamics.

• Microsoft Certified Professional and certifications from other partner licensing programs, such as VMware, Adobe, Citrix and Veeam.
