SQL DBA / SQL Database Administrator

SQL DBA required for an exciting client project with enterprise business exposure across retail and financial environments

You will have experience working with SQL Server 2008 upwards and be able to work with technical as well as business teams to establish and enable technical solutions implementation

Your skills will include:

SQL Server 2008 (including migrations from earlier versions) and versions above

SQL Azure exposure

Clustering and Performance based understanding

Data Replication


Monitoring tools

SSAS, SSIS, DTS design and maintenance

SQL Datawarehousing

Proven working knowledge of SQL Server 2008 will be required similar strong self-sufficiency and initiative working on Database projects. Practical experience of proactively monitoring and tuning databases to provide high availability service is essential, plus a good understanding of ITIL principles.

You will have knowledge and exposure to mission critical change management, migration and database integration processes and procedures

You will be able to communicate clear database and technical information through vocal, written and visual communications

The ability to work in a high pressure environment with a large amount of change management is required.
