Service Operations Manager - Service Integration, Service Operations, Major Incident/Problem Management

A fantastic opportunity has come up to work for a FTSE 100 business in Kent. The role will be a Service Operations Manager initially looking after Incident and problem management whilst supporting the existing head of service integration and operations.

The role will be to run the Incident and Problem Management teams before broadening the remit to wider areas of service management which include prooviding strategic leadership in the following areas;

• Change Management
• Implementation Management
• Service Relationship Management
• Service Desk Services
• Operational Supplier Management
• Continual Service Improvement
• Knowledge Management
• Training
• Reporting
• Software License, Asset and Configuration Management
• IT Service Continuity / Resilience
• Identity Access Management
• Service Onboarding

You will ontribute to the service integration and operation's department’s overall success and assist in other areas of the department where required.The main goal and focus when joining will be to ensure that problems are managed pro-actively to reduce the number of future incidents and improve service quality and stability.

To provide clear and concise communication of Major Incidents and Problems to Senior stakeholders across the business and Executive.

You will need to demonstrate true leadership and know what running a successful team looks like through process and people. Someone that acts proactively and takes initiatve.
To be truely successful I am looking for someone with a wider amount of experience in service operations across all operational areas of the ITIL lifecycle.

Personality is key for this role therefor someone with the ability to motivate and inspire with a high amount of emotional intelligence/empathy towards customers and teams that you manage.
