We are currently looking for the following:

- Oracle Technical Cloud Project Manager
- Location - South London
- Duration - 3 - 6 Months
- Rate - £500 - £550 per day.

Dimensions of the Role
• Ensures that delivery is technically coherent and meets required technical standards as regards integration of the cloud based solution into the IT infrastructure.
• Act as the point of co-ordination between the client, the systems integration partner (SI) and other technology teams including the corporate ICT team and third party supplier.
• Work collaboratively with the SI, project team and internal stakeholders to support each phase of the implementation to time and quality; working with the SI to secure stakeholder sign-off at all stages.
• Ensures that the technical aspects of system security are set up in line with the requirements of the corporate ICT policy
• Point of contact for all escalated technical issues.
• Identifies and owns technically based risks.
• Oversees data migration and manages escalated issues.
• Manages the technical process of ongoing report setup and production, managing internal resources to support using the Oracle Cloud reporting toolset.
• Manages the technical setup of interfaces with the new system and owns issues arising, working with the SI and other technical stakeholders to resolve.
• Specifies non-functional requirements for the new system including the ownership of the business continuity plan and procedures for planned system downtime for Oracle functionality upgrades.
• Develop plans to ensure all necessary preparation and execution tasks and dependencies are included.
• Manage all aspects of specific work packages.
• Work with stakeholders to ensure Design; Delivery; Technical Build; testing; reporting requirements etc are managed and delivered to date and time.
• Work with key stakeholders to manage the deployment of all aspects of the project assigned to Identify and mitigate potential risks for delivery of products
• Ensure there are resources and skills within the sub-projects for which responsible
• Operate as a full member of the team; supporting the Programme manager and other team members as directed to project manage all aspects of specific work packages
• Manage communications with all stakeholders
• Manage risks to the programme's successful outcome
• Completion of the high level plan through to Go Live and BAU handover.

Key experience/skills
• Proven experience working with Oracle Cloud or Oracle ERP and with knowledge of managing data migration exercises and setting up and maintaining interfaces and their associated controls with other systems.
• Knowledge of Oracle or Oracle Cloud reporting tools, their setup and management to support regular and ad hoc reporting requests
• Good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling a technical project workstream within a wider programme
• Good knowledge of programme and project management methods e.g Agile /PRINCE2
• Experience in the delivery of projects; with particular emphasis on the management of suppliers and stakeholders
• Experience of governance and risk control frameworks
• Good planning and organisational skills
• Experience of stakeholder management at all levels, including senior stakeholder management
• Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, must be a team player and able to work with and through others
• Able to grasp and articulate the project vision and objectives quickly and efficiently and positively communicate this with the project team and its stakeholders.
• As a team builder, the skills to be able to get the best from the team resource, which may be spread over many projects. They will be able to empathise with the team, while growing team spirit and increasing team performance.
• Capable of being able to demonstrate full and detailed understanding of the project scope in terms of functionality, its finance and delivery plan
• Subsequently be able to demonstrate control of the project, whilst being proactive with planning and RAID management, delivering management information as required
• Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to persuade and influence senior decision-making
• Experience of working in a large complex organisation
• Good Planning and organisational skills
• Effective leadership, people and communication skills
• Experience of working with cloud based systems, including administration of environments and integration with corporate IT standards, particularly around access security, is desirable.
