Sales Manager - Document Solutions

Due to growth and restructuring plans, our client are looking to recruit a new Sales Manager to increase revenue through the development of existing and new client relationships within the SME marketplace within London, Herts and Bucks.

Our client provides cost-efficient solutions to meet digital and hardcopy document requirements. Established 30 years ago and based in London, they are a leading partner in Managed Print Services (UK and Ireland). Their client list includes some of the best-known UK and global businesses. They offer an extensive range of products from office printers, copiers and multifunction devices through to digital printing presses, wide format printers and scanners for production environments. In addition they provide the latest and most innovative software solutions from market leading suppliers.

The Sales Manager will lead a team of 6-8 Business Developers and will report directly to the Managing Director, and will be responsible for the overall success of the team and will be given full accountability to recruit, promote and change the sales team. They will be responsible for the creation of weekly/monthly action plans which will increase pipeline development. The Sales Manager will need to put in place new performance monitoring, activity goals setting and a method for managing individual performance matrices.

The role will not hold an individual sales target, but a team target. They will enjoy approximately 50% of their time in a customer facing capacity and 50% of their time leading and managing the team.

The role will require close cooperation with other internal departments such as Inside Sales, Tele Sales, Marketing, Enterprise Sales Leadership, Partner Relations and operational units such as Finance and HR, and will be based from our clients offices in The Angel, London.
