Sales Account Director - £85K - £170K OTE - London

Account Directors must drive sales of the full portfolio of services and products across all EMEA locations. The primary focus of this role is to maximise growth through the acquisition of new customers and drive profitability through the selective targeting of such customers.

This successful sale team are increasing their sales capacity and are looking for experienced Account Directors to join them. Market areas such as Finance, Media, Pharma, Gaming and Legal are available.
You will be given account from the start but will be expected to bring on new clients.

• The creation and development of sales opportunities across the entire portfolio of products and services; from Service Exchange, through to colocation deals through to multi mega-watt scale projects.
• Develop strategic relationships with new potential customers, through a proactive, solution-sales approach that captures an increased share of IT spend.
• Cultivate long term strategic relationships with a select number of accounts which you’ll inherit taking a planned approach to develop new opportunities within those accounts to increase spend.
• Proactive development of opportunities across the entire European footprint within EMEA; i.e. Dublin, London Amsterdam and Frankfurt.
• Develop and deliver sales plans that optimise the win probability and allow tracking and simple stakeholder engagement.
• Collaborate and actively engage across the business, reinforcing a respected internal Sales brand that ensures that customers’ expectations are delivered against.
• Diligently and accurately use SFDC and other business systems (e.g Apptus), such that forecasting and appropriate administration is completed in a timely way.


• Proven sales experience in Data Centre, Telecoms, IT or Cloud Services experience is preferred.
• Proven successful experience of achieving sales targets and generating sound commercial deals.
• Strong business focus and clear understanding of the economic, regulatory and IT challenges facing our customers.
• Demonstrable track record of over achievement against targets throughout career and able to demonstrate significant IT / Telco deals.
