Account Manager – Managed Services

My client are currently seeking an Account Manager (desk based) to join their channel sales team. The company are a managed service provider specialising in contact centre technologies and have a great reputation in the market. They partner with some of the largest telecom players but maintain a nice start up type feel with no glass ceiling. A culture of getting stuck in and working together is actively promoted and the feel around the office is a positive and enjoyable one. They promote a sociable environment, heavy customer focus and are far from the old school aggressive sales culture. Internal development and promotion is a clear theme for anybody who applies themselves with the right attitude.

This will be a varied role with the chance to work on some big ticket projects as well as owning your own deals end to end. You will inherit some existing accounts to nurture and even be paid on recurring revenue before you’ve created any new business. Starting desk based, there is a clear path to field sales which can be achieved much quicker than the industry average. You will be London office based with occasional travel overseas when required. Once you are up to speed, there is flexible working options and other benefits such as company phone and gym membership.

The ideal candidate will have a year or two sales experience, preferably in the telecom arena. You will be extremely personable with exemplary communication skills and possess a strong commercial acumen. You will be motivated, focused and show initiative consistently. You will lead with a consultative, customer first approach and be able to manage stakeholders effectively. You will enjoy working in a team environment whilst also keep a sales orientated and target driven mentality.
