Node.JS Developer

Our client is a fast growing Internet of Things (IoT) and consumer device company who is looking for a Node.JS Developer to help shape and create new products and solutions. The company is about to launch a new range of revolutionary new consumer products, and the Node.JS developer will play an integral part in the future of the company.

Responsibilities:

• Writing robust, testable and efficient code.
• Design and implementation of low-latency, high availability applications.
• Writing tests and implementing testing automation.
• Re-design and refactoring of some systems.

Required skills:

• Strong proficiency with JavaScript
• Knowledge of Node.JS
• An understanding of asynchronous programming and user authentication.
• Experience implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.
• Basic understanding of Front End technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3
• Experience in a low latency, high availability environment.
