We require a highly motivated and talented Senior Business Analyst who is actively looking for their next career challenge. This role will combine the elements of full time, best practice business analysis with multiple cross product work within a fast paced FS trading environment.

Based at superb offices near to the Financial District, this Business Analyst will be able to work effectively within a team environment plus have the ability and confidence to work on your own initiative to meet project deadlines.
The successful individual will be required to promote the BA team at stakeholder meetings, therefore you will have developed excellent communication skills from previous project or BA roles.

We require the Business Analyst to carry out the following responsibilities:

Workshop facilitation and some document review
Provide functional specifications
Process mapping, documenting workflows and requirements gathering
Produce high level business process models so that senior stakeholders can full understand their requirements.
Managing stakeholder expectations and Identifying flaws in the current systems
Have the ability to identify systems implications for new regulatory laws coming into the markets
SWOT & Risk Analysis plus gap/impact
Project Initiation Document writing,
Milestone & reports analysis,
System Development Lifecycle
Change Management
System / Process Implementation
Stakeholder Engagement

The current skills required for this Business Analyst will be as follows:
Strong commercial experience as a Business Analyst with over 5 years commercial experience
Broad understanding of FS products having worked within a wholesale banking environment is essential
Proven knowledge of Equity Derivatives and Full trade lifecycle is essential
You must have previous experience working as a Business Analyst within an IT or Business Change programme.
Must have working knowledge of Agile methodology
Highly IT literate with knowledge of IT application or Service delivery projects
Excellent understanding of the mechanics around front/middle & back office process.
Be able to work with operational teams and understand how their work benefits the business
Carried out a variety of departmental projects within an organisation
Good awareness & understanding of producing functional specs
Excellent problem solver with the ability to think outside the box
Understanding of Agile/ Waterfall development methodologies
MS Projects/Word/Excel, Visio
Business Process Re-engineering
Business Process Modelling
Must be able to demonstrate a passion for BA work and want to continue working in a 'true' BA role.
