IQ NfP are working with a unique educational organisation to on-board a general all-rounder IT Business Analyst to support the organisation's new business plan. The IT Business Analyst is required to drive integration of all existing business systems where possible and conduct end-to-end business systems process re-engineering, developing and documenting.

You will support existing business systems and partnerships with functional managers across the organisation. You will develop best practice usage of existing business systems and drive the data standards set by the organisation.

What are the key accountabilities?
- Support the development of the organisation's business systems strategy
- Liaise with appropriate stakeholders and customers to develop end-to-end integrated business systems solutions to meet business needs
- Consult with, support and train users on the use of business systems
- Analyse data reporting requirements within a business process and facilitate report development and validation
- Develop robust analytics and reporting infrastructure, empowering business stakeholders to make informed decisions quickly through the application of insightful analytics

What are the key responsibilities?
• Support implementation of new business systems or upgrades to existing business systems up to and including handover to production status for the Operations team to administer
• Propose upgrade strategies for business systems based upon feedback from end users and leadership
• Annual cycle of client site visits to ensure sites are using business systems technology to maximum effect (ongoing audit and gap assessment) and to receive first hand feedback from the primary end users
• Input to agreed data standards and ensure these are being met across functions and sites to enable best in class usage of Management Information
• Develop and maintain all technical and end user process documentation related to business systems
• Look for areas of continual improvement in business systems and associated processes, always having the end user at the heart of proposals and decisions
• Ensure all processes reflect reality & help users be more effective, introducing workflow & automation wherever practical
• Support the training of end users across sites and other functions to drive usage and reduce unnecessary administrative tasks
• Communicate what is coming down the track from Head Office, working in partnership with stakeholders to drive joined up strategy and vision across the organisation
• Ensure business systems provide the right tools to comply with safeguarding rules and compile necessary reports to be reviewed by the safeguarding teams within the organisation
• Provide 3rd line expertise relating to Business Systems as required

Key decisions within the role:
• Appropriate business systems to implement to support the organisation's strategy (in consultation with other functions and stakeholders)
• Upgrade strategies for business systems (in conjunction with end-users and leadership and subject to approval by stakeholders)
• Data standards and policy (subject to approval by stakeholders)

Essential experience/skills required:
- All round IT experience - understanding of technical landscapes
- Microsoft environment
- Business Systems integration
- Track record of developing integrated business systems in a complex environment
- Data management
- Ability to synthesize large volumes of data
- Solutions orientated approach
- Microsoft background
