Role Overview:
As a marketing Analyst, you will work with the marketing team to optimise communication spend across all channels ensuring that the business gets the best possible return on investment for its marketing expenditure. The individual will be an analytics expert who is responsible for ongoing reporting and insights development related to customer segmentation, promotional/campaign effectiveness, website performance.
The role would be suitable for someone who has a high attention to detail; thrives in a dynamic changing environment; and someone who can communicate clearly with non-technical colleagues.
Responsibilities:
• Analyse customer accounts, transactions, demographics, and campaign responsiveness to build actionable profiling and segmentation.
• Create a robust measurement framework that brings together econometric measurement of above the line comms with measurement of direct player comms, online media buying, SEO and social. Use this to inform and optimise go to market planning.
• Create a cross channel attribution model that is used by the digital teams to inform media buying strategy.
• Support the marketing team by pulling and analysing data queries and evaluating customer performance, data sets and marketing effectiveness
• Build ad-hoc reports to meet business needs
• Work with the BI development team to design and build self-service automated BI solutions
• Statistical analysis of player cohorts to identify players that require bespoke targeted campaigns;
• Support the BI team in report requirements generated by the marketing team.
• Any other duties as requested by the Company

Required Experience:
• 4 years’ experience in a related role;
• Understanding of marketing across all channels, above the line, online, and below the line.
• Strong ad-hoc SQL skills and the ability to automate queries.
• Fluent use of statistical analysis software such as R;
• Demonstrated experience with data manipulation and analysis in an online consumer facing business;
• Strong analytical skills; ability to analyse raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations;


• Strong communication skills;
• High degree of creative, analytical and problem solving skills;
• High attention to detail;
• Bachelor’s Degree in Maths; Statistics or Econometrics is essential;
• Ability to work in team environment and under pressure;
• Valid working visa.
