PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

To win new customers for IQ Not for Profit in a given niche area of the NFP market, by generating and filling contract assignments.

To become recognised as a Subject Matter Expert in one or more given niche areas of the Not For Profit market, acting as a trusted advisor and advocate a wide network of hiring managers and candidates in that market.

To formulate and execute a business plan for the ongoing growth of a business area within the Not For Profit market and to suggest emerging and/or alternative areas that can be developed.

To attain and maintain a personal and corporate reputation for excellent customer service and complete integrity.

To promote the commercial interests of IQ Not For Profit by securing high quality, repeatable business at appropriate margins.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Taking (or choosing) a niche sector within the broad Not For Profit industry and gaining a thorough understanding of the characteristics, trends, technologies and players in that market.

Working across multiple channels to establish an extensive and high-quality network of appropriate active and passive job seekers appropriate to the given niche market.

Identifying key customers be they established or emerging companies and engaging with those via high-quality Business Development activity to introduce the services of IQ Not For Profit.

Winning instructions to fill relevant permanent vacancies and/or contract assignments from companies in the given niche market, at appropriate fees/margins.

Gaining a thorough understanding of clients business needs and recruitment requirements by taking high-quality briefs, via client meetings or by phone.

Identifying suitable candidates from either the existing network/database or via the other available channels. Contacting and thoroughly briefing and screening candidates to arrive at a shortlist.

Presenting carefully selected and screened shortlisted candidates to the customer to secure interviews. Managing the resulting interview process briefing/debriefing all interested parties until a preferred candidate is found.

Negotiating and closing offers and performing high quality, proactive aftercare leading up to start date and beyond.

Generating new sales leads wherever possible from conversations with candidates and using contact with existing clients as an opportunity to win incremental business.

Providing high-quality Account Management to existing customers for growing IQ Not For Profit market share, to secure referrals and to win additional, long-term business.

Participating in bidding, tendering and presentation processes where necessary to win new customers or assignments.

Collaborating closely with colleagues in IQ Not For Profit and IQ Group to create further business opportunities, either within Not For Profit or across lines of business.

Producing yearly and quarterly business plans to guide the growth of the given business area.

Producing progress reports on any aspect of the role as required by management.
