What is the role about?

Blue’s award winning technology has supported over half a billion pounds of lending to over 50,000 customers to date. Our core business is providing credit at point of sale in support of the sale of automobiles.

The Deal Making Team supports Blue Motor Finance promoting a one stop service to appointed dealers and their customers. This established team brokers the applications that Blue Motor Finance is unable to underwrite to partner finance companies. Over the last 12 months the business has enjoyed rapid growth and we are looking for enthusiastic, passionate and customer-focused individuals to join our team.

What will I be doing?

This important role continues Blue Motor Finance’s commitment to providing outstanding, class leading service. Acting as a key point of contact for clients and financial providers across a UK network, you will be:
- Working as part of a busy team
- Managing multiple customer finance deals
- Predominantly handling inbound and outbound phone calls from dealers and customers
- Offering customers the best options to support their financial requests, through negotiation with customers and dealerships
- Overcoming objections and presenting solutions positively, using empathy and understanding
- Building effective working relationships
- Working to set targets and deadlines
- Adhering to FCA guidelines and regulations
- Maintaining up to date records
- Keeping up to date with the company’s and client finance products and maintaining knowledge in line with good practice

What knowledge, skills and experience do I need?
Skills & Experience
- Keen eye for detail
- Experience of working within a team environment
- Good negotiation/objection handling skills
- Previous experience of sales or finance broking - desirable
- Good negotiation/objection handling skills
- Able to prioritise workload
- Knowledge of treating customers fairly (TCF) - desirable
- Awareness of current FCA regulations - desirable
- Ability to understand and comply with documented processes and procedures
- Excellent communication skills

- Good educational background with proficiency demonstrable in maths and English
- Computer literate, including MS office products and email

What training will I get?
To support your development, full training will be provided in all aspects of the role and includes:
- Induction programme
- Objection handling
- Communication skills
- Confidence building

Additional information
- 37.5 hours per week - rotating shifts. (8.5hrs per day incl. 1hr unpaid for lunch)
- Must be able to reliably commute to office
- Rota shift work based on 8-8 weekdays and 9-5 Saturdays, Sundays & Bank Holidays (day in lieu earnt for working them).
