A very exciting new job opportunity is available with a client of ours in Cambridgeshire looking to recruit a software Release Manager which is a hands-on leadership position within their IT Teamwho support the business with provision of IT Solutions to HR.

The primary focus of this role is to lead and coordinate the ongoing changes to a global implementation which has taken place within the last year which supports major HR processes across the company.
The successful applicatnt will manage feature releases agreeing the scope and schedule of each release, working between HR stakeholders and the company's business system owner and IT Delivery team in particular:

o Provide timely and relevant communications relating to potential scope of releases to the primary, and other stakeholders.
o Agree scope of deployment for each release and maintain associated roadmap
o Manage risks and resolves issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality
o Conduct release readiness, milestone, and business go/no-go reviews
o Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams at different locations
o Communicate release details and schedules to the Business as required
o Manage release issues, risks, deployment requests and change requests to a given release
o Understand impact of interfaces and other IT systems impacted by content of any releases, coordinate delivery of any necessary changes with other technical teams
o Manage updates to any necessary IT/business documentation

o Drive and participate in the testing activities for each release or new functionality including testing on workday product, HR processes and business change activities, and technical interfaces and downstream systems
o Develop and agree test strategy and approach for each release
o Manage the test execution teams
o Ensuring that all key test documentation has been completed to a high standard and meet Audit requirement
o Ensuring BAU team is following IT change control processes and lead regular SOX reviews
o Responsible for IT change controls improvements and documentations

? Work collaboratively with Global Process owners in HR, Business Analysts in the Workday BAU team, the testing team, Stakeholders and 3rd Parties.
