IQ are currently looking to recruit an Additive Manufacturing Field Service Engineer to work for a leading Global IT Solutions/production client on a perm basis; covering the area of North Germany.

Role: Additive Manufacturing Field Service Engineer
Location: North Germany - Travel all over (must live in Germany for this role)
Salary: Euro) 45,000-50,000 plus great benefits and expenses.

To provide the clients customers with a professional, efficient maintenance, repair, process support and training on Additive Manufacturing Products, ensuring full customer satisfaction.

This role requires extensive travel throughout a designated area with some International travel. Extended time is often required at customer’s locations due to the nature of SLS printing, therefore a flexible approach to work is required.

1. Technical service to customers, including installation, system introduction, maintenance, upgrading, repair of AM products. Attend customer meetings, perform onsite training, provide process support and ensure assigned accounts are managed to meet satisfactory service in line with agreed service level agreements.
2. Understands how the customer uses there products and their unique material and software requirements
3. Maximise revenue by identifying potential business and professional service opportunities, whilst carrying out day-to-day duties.
4. Perform regular account management to organization and coordination the delivery of parts, equipment and tools. Ensure parts stock quantities are current, to improve first time fix levels to customers, and minimise usage and stock losses.

• Efficient fault diagnosis skills with the ability to read and interpret electrical circuit diagrams, safety rules, operating, maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
• Experienced in performing system calibration and process optimisation
• Good understanding of pneumatics, temperature control and PLC controlled systems (not including programming) firmware upgrading
• Advanced computer skills Windows PC, MS Word, Excel, Networking.
• Experience of working on high value capital equipment
• Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy item 25Kg, perform tasks using equipment, which requires working with electrical hazards, high-power lasers and photo-polymer resins, which, if handled incorrectly, can cause health hazards/injuries.
• Experience in plastic’s, (injection moulding) powders or laser would be an advantage
• Fluent in written and spoken English
