Business Development Director

My client are well funded high growth tech company that are at the beginning of its Second phase of sales and marketing expansion journey in the UK, moving into mainland Europe and US.

They are looking for Senior Business Development candidates who want to be well rewarded for success, have good career progression opportunities and have a great time along the way.

My client are transforming the way Enterprise businesses are having conversations with their customers and connecting them via many different channels like Messenger, WhatsApp, Viber, SMS, Alexa, Google Home to name a few. My clients ‘Conversational Interface’ use AI and Chatbot technology to automate and streamline these conversations.

These are senior roles within the business and you will be focused on developing the value proposition within key business accounts leading to demand for my client’s products, services and applications.

The Business be looking to the experience and expertise of the Business Development Director to help shape and influence the future sales and product strategies to ensure the business achieves its business growth targets.
Responsibilities:
• Drive revenue growth through the progression and conversion of the sales pipeline, working closely with the sales team at all stages of the cycle.
• Achieve and exceed sales revenue targets on a consistent basis along with representing the business at all times that’s consistent with the company values.
• Build strong business relationships with all stakeholders within the company to deliver personal and company goals, vision and strategy.
• Drive the use of omni-channel communication to the potential customer, using chat, social media, web-based tools & outbound calling.

Required Skills/Experience:

The Business Development Director:

• Organisationally excellent, with a focus on detail and a strong grasp of operational metrics.
• A proven Business Development sales person within team environment with at least 10 years’ experience selling into UK I
• Proven track record of consistent over achievement against sales targets that can be referenced and verified.
• Sales experience to date has been with preferably with complex software solutions selling into large enterprise where there’s usually multiple decision makers and influencers. It would be an advantage if your experience was connected to contact centre solutions, digital transformation, customer engagement solutions or related technologies.
• Experience of selling and presenting to multiple C level exec’s within large enterprise organisations, with ability to engage with all stakeholders throughout these organisations. With proven ability to identify, engage, sell to C level enterprise executives.
• Customer-centric, driving yourself and others to address enquiries quickly and in a mode and tone that the customer expects.
• Agile, able to operate in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
• A change-agent, able to adapt within a team in a digital transformation world.
• Tech savvy, keeping up with online trends, tactics and tools.
• A willingness and desire to succeed.
