What will you be doing?

Key Responsibilities:
• Strategy: Support the Content Lead in developing and executing the overarching Content strategy and work on specific strategic projects in this vein – ensuring to plan & managing stakeholders.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues across the business to deliver the personalisation strategy. Lead the Content arm of this strategy, including the implementation of AEM DAM to support dynamic, personalised content across CRM campaigns and on-site landing pages.
• Relationship building: Develop a positive, close and mutually rewarding relationship for Content with senior CRM stakeholders. Understand the CRM team’s objectives for customers and help them further understand the power of content to deliver those objectives.
• Creativity: Propose the most appropriate, engaging and compelling way can serve customers through CRM content, balancing the needs of CRM colleagues with the needs of our customers and the mission of our brand.
• Brand: Bring the new brand idea and tonal identity to life within all CRM content and become an ambassador for the positioning & customer segmentation.
• Influence: Work within the team to further develop the role an expert Content team needs to take both on messaging and tone in CRM emails, based on both experience and customer data. Support the Content Lead in raising the profile & confidence of the team.
• Planning: Responsible for planning content to support your area, and representing this accurately within the content team so workloads can be managed. Define the resources required to deliver that content to the highest possible standards
• Production: Responsible for the production of all the content on your work plan, ensuring the quality of the final output is as high as possible. Where required, commission, brief and edit content from external sources to meet (or exceed) the agreed plan, having secured budget from the Content Lead to do so.
• Monitor: Monitor the performance of all the content produced – continually adapting & iterating plans as we learn.
What do you need to excel in this role?

• Clear understanding of content influence on email marketing
• Ability to write very clearly about complex topics, and achieve specific goals depending on where the content appears and who we are talking to
• Ability to produce high quality content, and react to KPIs in order to keep pushing this higher
• Strong stakeholder management, both with partner teams and within Content team to ensure resources are secured
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage a varied workload
• Effective communicator and strong presenter
• Not afraid to challenge objectively & respectfully
• Very high levels of attention to detail when researching, writing or editing content
• Excited about communicating with customers, improving their understanding, answering their questions and saving them some money
• Inquisitive across Marketing disciplines & the inter-relationships in outputs
