Business Development Representative
Location: Hayes Middlesex


Job Description

Responsible for prospecting new customers and partners via telephone. May attend staff industry shows and events to evangelise solutions. Provide initial dialogue with prospects to gain interest in clients solutions. Provide first level qualification and sets appointment or next step conversation for Account Executives/Account Directors/Channel Managers. Work with Sales to develop prospect targets within territory. Respond to leads from marketing generated events. Perform prospect account research through website, press releases, and social contact searches. Profiles industry vertical to identify opportunities for the Clients solutions. Holds annual and quarterly revenue target, does not close the sale but supports AE/Channel Manager to close business. Responsible for quarterly lead generation quota. Revisits dated prospect leads that may have gone cold to re-engage an AE. Knowledgeable of all products and services.

PRIMARY ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop target list or prospects within defined territory/verticals in support of AE campaigns
• Achieve a targeted number of SQL’s (Strategic Qualified Leads) for the Region.
• Achieve a personal quota against all SQL’s as set by Region Sales Leader.
• Gain Customer commitment to complete a minimum number of Customer self-assessments using the online tool(s) for further sales follow up and action.
• Report on progress against targets with manager and AE/AD/Channel Sales assigned. Research prospect accounts to identify client pain for point of entry.
• Initiate contact through call and/or e-mail messaging/LinkedIn prospecting, succinctly communicating Aspect’s value to secure appointments.
• Qualify next steps through AE introduction.
• Act as safety net for leads passed that may have grown cold – re-engage and nurture.
• Updates SFDC with all notes/contacts/tasks/correspondence relating to identifying and developing a prospect.



Qualifications


SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

• Demonstrated competency in sales of company products and services.
• Ability to communicate business outcome and value and not just product features to customers.
• Strong customer focus and teamwork skills. Professional demeanour to maintain and enhance relationships.
• Will be tasked with sales development of new or strategic products such as Via.
• Ability to use professional concepts and tools such as CCS methodologies and SFDC CRM and forecasting approaches.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• 2 - 5 years of sales experience or demonstrated ability in developing business relationships
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
• Ability to pass a background check may also be required


£35- £40K Basic 50% bonus plus benefits and car allowance
