We are currently looking for a ERP system owner to work for a large organisation based in Glasgow, Scotland.

Salary is £55-65k plus benefits

Oviewview:

The ERP System Administrator/owner is a member of the Project Team. Proactively monitor and manage the system environments (Train, SIT, UAT and Production) with the main focus being on Production. They will be responsible for the ongoing monitoring of interfaces for optimum performance and capacity constraints, provide functional and system administration of Dynamics 3650. Act as a focal point for co-ordinating support services with the implementation partner and Microsoft.They will collaborate with the Project Team, implementation partner and Microsoft for the installation of patches/ platform and application upgrades.
Manage changes to configuration/ workflows / profiles and security based upon user feedback.

- Proactively monitor different Dynamics Environments and the interfaces for optimum performance and provide technical support for the system and its interfaces;
- Provide support and administer the Customer Support Portal
- Provide administration and problem/performance analysis and resolution of any technical or integration issue that might arise, create data fixes when required, and write ad-hoc queries and reports. Undertake setup or configuration of system when required;
- Administer the system menus, user profiles, workflow reassignments, security and user access responsibilities
- Act as focal point to the implementation partner and Microsoft for the service requests, code deployments, patch analysis and deployments;
- Act as a focal point for business process queries for data queries or issues associated with data validity
- Serve as key department contact for all system issues and questions.
- Research the system features and determine best practices for system maintenance and usage.
- Provide input on current issues and future needs enhancements.
- Coordinate, test, troubleshoot and implement Finance system upgrades.
- Establish security requirements and user profiles for all system users.
- Use system capabilities to determine and implement streamlined processes.
- Create ad hoc reports and validate new and existing reports to ensure financial accuracy.
- Develop and maintain user procedure documentation manuals.
- Train system users both within and outside the Finance Department.

COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB: (Essential skills, qualifications and experience)

- Full lifecycle experience of an ERP system, ideally Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365, or similar large scale systems implementation projects
- Good knowledge of Power BI or other reporting packages
- Good general knowledge of working within a financial department
- Experience of configuring and supporting an ERP system
- Good understanding of project governance and change control processes
- Self-Starter: takes the initiative
- Strong communications skills and ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders
- Experience of having been through multiple readiness activities and system implementations
- Must be flexible and willing to get involved in a variety of tasks including data analysis, root cause analysis, trouble shooting, reporting, issue resolution etc
- Excellent team working skills: able to solve problems collaboratively
- Experience of dealing with overseas subsidiaries/operations an advantage
