Sales Director - Hamburg

We are recruiting for a fast growing technology company who are based in Hamburg. They are looking for a Sales Director to head up their expanding sales team who will have the following responsbilities:

Your Challenges
Identify, research and create new business opportunities and effectively manage client relationships from initial contact, through negotiation until closing the deals
Create strategic and tactical sales plans and lead your Sales team through the implementation process to maximize revenue and growth
Generate and drive sales including cold calls, presentations, events, conferences and meetings
Drive, manage and track our sales pipeline across multiple channels and proactively follow up on leads
Work closely with Marketing, Channel Management and our partner network on business development and lead generation campaigns
Define and identify business development opportunities with our partners to create and enable sales through our partner and affiliate network
Support and manage a wide range of stakeholders; create a strong network of relationships among peers, partners, clients and other stakeholders
Lead, enable and develop the strong Sales team to bring out the individuals strengths of each team member

Your profile
You have 8 years of professional experience in sales or consulting with 3 years in a senior management or leadership position
You have an in-depth understanding of the challenges of digitization and commerce across industries and verticals
You are highly motivated to sell to large and medium sized enterprises and key accounts, an existing network in the DACH region is a plus
You are experienced in eCommerce, software, or cloud ecosystems
You have outstanding communication and negotiation skills on Managing Director and senior executive level
You are focused on results and execution, with motivation to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive projects to results
As a highly organized individual you have a great understanding of sales planning, priority management using a hands-on approach
You are able to generate and interpret performance data and reports
You work effectively across multiple teams and levels within the organization and are able to manage
