My client is the UKs most advanced weight management organisation, helping members lose weight every week in our 16,000 groups around the UK. The company has experienced consistent growth of approximately 20% per year for the past five years taking the brand to a clear leadership position in the UK and Ireland.
The Information and Network Security Officer will ensure that confidentiality and the protection of personal data is hard-wired in to the way that we work. In this role, you will work with our Head Office and Field Teams to make sure that all our internal information systems, processes and procedures are safe and continuously developed, monitored, reviewed and updated to provide the highest standard of compliance to appropriate legislation both in the UK and globally, helping to maintain a high quality of service to our staff, the Consultants who run our groups, and our members.
You will be required to provide exceptional support and advice to managers across the business, including investigating IT security breaches and viruses and preventing reoccurrence. You will work predominantly with the IT and Digital teams, influencing and contributing to the development of services and ensuring these meet strict security standards
We would love to hear from you if you have;
a degree or equivalent industry related qualification in one of the following; cyber security, IT, network engineering, networks and security, computer science
extensive experience with application security and vulnerability management including good practical experience of infrastructure and application development, Cloud architecture and vulnerability management.
a well organised with a methodical and proactive approach to work
excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and are able to influence to a Director level in a warm and friendly manner
a strong interest in IT and digital developments
clear experience in leading and concluding key projects
pride yourself on staying up to date with latest developments, legislation and appropriate external standards in your field of expertise
This is a full time, Monday to Friday, position however flexibility will be required out of hours and/or weekends to cover system upgrades, fixes and testing.
